Food From The Bar, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, is a grassroots, nation-wide campaign started by lawyers to fight hunger in the communities where they work and live. During the month of May the Orange County legal community is partnering with Second Harvest in our very own Food From The Bar Campaign to feed the hungry in OC.
We invite you and your company to join us in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most funds and volunteer the most hours to help close the meal gap for more than 290,000 men, women and children who often don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
The competition runs from May 1st to June 3rd. Team points are earned for raising funds and volunteering at Second Harvest. Please join us for our Awards Reception on June 26, 2019 to celebrate our amazing supporters. Please RSVP to Megan by June 14 at 949-208-3187 or [email protected]
Your team can join the fun by following these easy steps:
Select a Team Coordinator to work with Second Harvest
Register for the competition by creating a Virtual Food Drive fundraising page here
Rally your coworkers to donate and volunteer to earn award points
Sponsor benefits offered throughout the month-long campaign, including an exclusive Title Sponsor opportunity. Learn more about Sponsorship opportunities here.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2019 Food From The Bar campaign! Your commitment to our mission to end hunger in Orange County has a great impact on our community.
This year, the legal community raised over $28,200 and donated more than 800 pounds of food – this will provide over 85,500 meals for the community! 285 hours were volunteered for this month-long campaign – this saved the food bank more than $7,200 in paid labor. Over the last three years, Food From The Bar has provided over 321,000 meals for food insecure children, families and seniors.
Congratulations to this year’s Food From The Bar award winners:
