In response to the pandemic, we have enacted our food distribution crisis plan. We are changing our distribution model to reduce the spread of COVID-19 while still providing food for those in need. With concern for the health and safety of our team members, volunteers, and the community, we are transitioning to distribute boxes of shelf-stable food door-to-door.
This means that we must also change how we are delivering food to our partners.To continue to get the necessary amount of food out into the community to the food-insecure children, families, and seniors we serve, we are putting the call out for volunteers between the ages of 18 – 60 years old who have mid-sized open bed pickup trucks or larger to help us deliver food boxes to the pantries we are working with.
We need volunteers who:
Volunteers must be healthy and must not be experiencing or exhibiting any symptoms of colds or flu-like illnesses
