Reports To: Volunteer Engagement Manager
Classification: C
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Hourly: $17.50 – $19.25 – DOE)
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday

POSITION PURPOSE: The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator serves to enhance the volunteer experience. The primary focus is to build relationships with recurring and one-time volunteer groups ensuring successful recruitment, scheduling, and experience building. The Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for special events recruitment and logistics. The Coordinator is responsible for working with the Volunteer Department Team to create a remarkable volunteer experience for the 24,000 volunteers that come to the Food Bank each year to help us accomplish our mission to “End Hunger in Orange County”.
